Bhanuka came up 33 places

After the Asia Cup, the latest ICC T20 rankings had been announced.

Based on the performance of the Sri Lankan players in the Asia Cup, they have came forward in the rankings where Wanidu Hasaranga was ranked 4th among T20 all-rounders. Wanidu has also risen to the 6th position among T20 bowlers.

Also spinner Mahish Thiekshana is still ranked 8th among T20 bowlers. Chamika Karunaratne has the 42nd position.

While Bangladesh's Shakib Al Hasan is at the forefront among the T20 all-rounders, Australia's Jos Hazlewood has been able to take the lead among the bowlers.

Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka had slipped to 8th place among the T20 batters. Also, Bhanuka Rajapaksa had moved up 33 places and occupied the 34th position among T20 batters.

However, Mohammad Rizwan of Pakistan has taken the lead among T20 batters.
