Sri Lanka A team won easily by 7 wickets against the South Africa A

All-round performance from Arachchige while Nishan claimed the first century of the tournament

The second unofficial one-day match between the South African A and the Sri Lanka A was held at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium and Sri Lanka A won the match by 7 wickets and managed to tie the tournament.

The South African captain Tony De Zorzi, who won the toss, and decided to bat first. Accordingly, the South African A team, who entered the field to bat first, could score only 175 runs.

While Dilshan Madushanka managed to claim the first four wickets of the South African innings, two wickets were shared between Janith Liyanage and Sahan Arachchi.

Gerald Coetzee who was the highest scorer of the innings scored 77 runs and Tristan Stubbs scored 59 runs.

Chasing a target of 176 runs for victory, the Sri Lanka A team passed the target by scoring 178 runs for the loss of only 3 wickets in 29 overs.

Being the highest scorer of the innings, Nishan Madushka claimed the first century of the tournament and he managed to score 107 runs in 85 balls. His innings was colorful with 13 fours and 2 sixes.

Also, Sahan Arachchi, who showed superb all-round performance throughout the match, managed to score 50 runs with 6 fours.

In bowling, Swanepoel, Williams and Moreki shared one wicket each.
