The Sri Lankan team managed to record a massive win by 133 runs in
the match against Ireland in the ICC World Cup qualification tournament.
The Irish team won the toss and invited the Sri Lankan team to bat
first and they scored 325 runs in their 50 overs. Dimuth Karunaratne scored 100
runs, Sadheera Samarawickrama scored 82 runs, Charith Sasanka scored 38 runs
and Dhananjaya de Silva managed to score 42 runs unbeaten.
Mark Adair took 4 wickets and Barry McCarthy took 3 wickets for
the Irish team.
The Irish team, who played the reply innings, managed to score
only 192 runs after 25 overs.
Wanindu Hasaranaga took 5 wickets, Mashish Theekshana took 2
wickets, Lahiru Kumara, Kasun Rajitha and Dasun Shanaka managed to take one
wicket each.
