It is reported that the International Cricket Council has focused on including cricket in the Youth Olympic Games to be held in 2030.
Accordingly, foreign media had reported that several rounds of discussions have already been held between the ICC and the International Olympic Committee regarding the relevant matter. However, India is slated to host the Youth Olympic Games in 2030. It is also special to host the Youth Olympics as a preparation for the Olympic Games to be held in 2036. It was also stated that the necessary arrangements have already been made to hold the 2030 Youth Olympic Games in Mumbai, India.
However, after the 1900 Olympic Games held in Paris, France, it has been decided to include cricket in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
