Yesterday (31st), the Sri Lankan team was able to win a huge victory by 93 runs in the first one-day match of the Sri Lanka 'A' team's tour of South Africa.

Sri Lanka scored 298 runs for 9 wickets at the end of the scheduled 50 overs. Nuvanindu Fernando scored 97 points and Kamil Mishara scored 71 points for Sri Lanka. In addition, young player Chamindu Wickramasinghe scored 55 runs in 39 balls with 4 sevens and 3 sixes. While bowling for South Africa, Tristan Luce and Adele Pelukwayo took 3 wickets each.
