The school volleyball tournament organized by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation ended recently and Ruwanwella Rajasinghe Middle School won the boys championship and Hungama Vijayaba National School won the girls championship.

Ruwanwella Rajasinghe Middle School and Pannala National School had qualified for the boys under-19 finals of this last tournament held at Sugathadasa Home Stadium in Colombo. There, Ruwanwella Rajasinghe Middle School won the match 3-1 easily.Also, Hungama Wijayaba National School and Ruwanwella Rajasinghe School entered the competition field in the girls' final match of the same age group. Hungama Vijayaba National School won the match 3-0.
Meanwhile, in the under-17 age group, the girls' championship was won by Giriulla Wickramasheela National School, while the boys' championship was won by Natthandia Dhammissara National School.
