Tavi Samaraweera of Sri Lanka has managed to occupy the 11th place in the world ranking in the under-11 age group of the international table tennis ranking.
Accordingly, it is also special that this is the highest ranking recorded in the world by a Sri Lankan sportsperson in any age group or open division.In addition, it is noteworthy that Tavi Samaraweera was able to occupy the 67th place in the world rankings in the under-13 age group.
Tavi Samaraweera is currently studying at Mount St. Thomas College.
