Yesterday (4th), the Sri Lanka Port Authority team won the men's championship in the Super League Volleyball Championship organized by the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation. Also, the women's championship of this year's tournament was won by the Air Force team.

Wennappuwa Albert F. The Sri Lanka Port Authority team and the Power Board team had qualified for this men's final which was held at Peiris Indoor Stadium. The Port Authority won the match 3-0 easily. The score of that match was 25-19, 25-22 and 25-21.In the men's category, the third place was won by the Army, while the Ocean Sri Lankan team took the fourth place.
Lasindu Metmal, who represented the Port Authority team, won the awards as the best player in the men's division of this tournament.
Meanwhile, in the final match of the women's division, the Air Force team was able to win the match 3-1 against the Port Authority team. The scores were 25-12, 25-20, 14-25 and 25-19. Gayani Ranasinghe of the Sri Lanka Air Force team won the award for the best player in the women's division.
