It is reported that two players of the Sri Lanka National Baseball Team and the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Baseball Federation have the opportunity to join the Baseball United League tournament held in the United Arab Emirates.
Accordingly, Sameera Ratnayake and Sadisha Meegoda of the Sri Lankan National Baseball Team are scheduled to enter the competition field in this tournament. In addition, Wing Commander Mark Fonseka, General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Baseball Federation, will serve as an official of the tournament.
The three of them left for the United Arab Emirates today (11th). However, the Sri Lanka Baseball Federation announces that this is a valuable opportunity to record the Sri Lankan baseball game internationally and showcase the talents of the Sri Lankan players at the international level.
The United Arab Emirates Baseball League will be held in the United Arab Emirates from the 14th to the 18th of this month.
