It is reported that a squad consisting of 18 players has been named for the Bangabandhu Kabaddi tournament to be held in Bangladesh.

This year Bangabandhu Kabaddi tournament will be held from 11th to 22nd of March. It is said that teams representing from 12 countries are going to participate in this year's event.

In 2021, Sri Lanka were the runner-up and Bangladesh won the championship. However, a heated debate was also created regarding the controversial refereeing decisions given in that final.

However, it is also special that this squad does not include any players representing the Army, Air Force or Navy.
