The official election of the Sri Lanka Football Federation was held recently (14) at the Duncan White Auditorium of the Ministry of Sports.
Sri Ranga, a former Member of Parliament and a journalist who received 27 votes, has been elected as the President of the Sri Lanka Football Federation. The other candidate, Jagath Rohana, had secured only 24 votes.
The newly elected officers will hold their positions for a period of 05 months and the official election will be held again before May 31 this year.
