who scored first on the invitation of Pakistan's captain who won the toss in
this match, scored 170 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Pakistan falling short
of the target by 23 runs.
In pursuit of
that target, Mohammad Rizwan scored 55 and Iftikhar Ahmed scored 32 for
Pakistan, but it was not enough for Pakistan get over the line. Pramod
Madhushan, who bowled brilliantly for Sri Lanka, took 4 wickets, Wanidu
Hasaranga took 3 wickets, Chamika Karunaratne took 2 wickets and Mahish
Thiekshana took one wicket.
Bhanuka
Rajapakse scored 71 runs for the Sri Lanka who batted first. Bhanuka's innings
included 6 fours and 3 sixes. Vanidu Hasaranga scored 36 and Dhananjaya de
Silva scored 28.
