Pakistan managed to record the first victory in the 2023 Asia Cup.

Accordingly, Pakistan managed to record a victory of 238 runs in the first match of this year's tournament with the Nepalese team.  Pakistani , who won the toss and batted first , managed to collect 342 runs for the loss of 06 wickets at the end of the 50 overs.

Captain Babar Azam, who was engaged in an excellent batting, scored 151 runs in 131 balls with 04 sixes and 14 fours, Iftikhar Ahmed scored 109 runs without losing his wicket, and Mohammad Rizwan scored 44 runs.

However, the Nepali team,  chasing a target of 343 runs, could  only got 104 runs in 23 overs and 4 balls.

Shadab Khan took 4 wickets while bowling for the Pakistan team.

Pakistan captain Babar Azam was the man of the match.
