The special training camp for the Sri Lankan Cricket team aimed at the twenty-20 World Cup cricket tournament to be held in Australia started recently at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy.

Lasith Malinga, who is considered as the best fast bowler produced from Sri Lanka, was seen again to help Sri Lanka tem prepare for the T20 World cup 2022.However, cricket sources say that Malinga will not travel to Australia with the Sri Lankan team due to personal reasons.

However, the Sri Lankan Twenty20 team led by Dasun Shanaka is scheduled to leave Sri Lanka on October 2 to participate in the Twenty20 cricket World cup 2022.
