Liam Livingstone has been given the responsibility to lead the England team in the one-day series to be held with the West Indies.

Accordingly, this is the first time that Livingston will be the captain of the England team.
However, due to the fact that the regular captain of the England ODI team, Jos Buttler, has suffered a leg injury, Livingston has been given this opportunity. Liam Livingstone, who is now 31 years old, has played one Test match, 30 one-day international cricket matches and 50 Twenty20 matches for England.
Also, due to the leg injury, Jos Buttler could not join for any match after the 2024 T20 World Cup.
However, the country's selection committee had worked to add Jos Buttler to the England squad to face the West Indies. But a subsequent fitness test revealed that Butler is still not fully recovered. However, the country's selection committee had worked to add Jos Buttler to the England squad to face the West Indies.
