It is reported that the additional players named to the Sri Lankan squad for the Twenty20 World Cup in Australia have not been able to leave for Australia so far.

The reason for this problem is that the visas of substitute players, Niroshan Dickwella, Asita Fernando and Mateesha Pathirana have not yet been received. However, it has been learned that the cricket authorities have informed these three players to prepare to leave for Australia tonight (26). The efforts made by the cricket authorities to resolve the problem to some extent have been successful.

Nevertheless, the cricket authorities had planned to send these three players to Australia by the weekend. However, in the face of this visa problem, a big issues has been created in not being able to send them on time.
