The 24-member Sri Lanka squad for the 2-match football tournament between Sri Lanka and Yemen was announced.

As usual, the responsibility of leading the Sri Lankan team in this tournament has been assigned to goalkeeper Sujan Perera. Also, Bharat Suresh, Claudio Clamerchet, Dillon de Silva, Jack Hingert and Jason Thayaparan have been named in the Sri Lanka squad.
However, Zakairji Steven, Wade Decker and Wasim Razik have not been named in this 24-man squad.
This friendly football match to be held in Doha Qatar will be held as a rehearsal for the qualification tournament of the Asian Football Championship. The first match is scheduled to be held tomorrow (16th) and the second match is scheduled to be held on the 19th.
Abdullah Almutairi is the head coach of the Sri Lankan team.
