The International Cricket Council had updated its latest player ratings yesterday (13th), where many Sri Lankan players had come forward.

That is, Sri Lanka's super spinner Vanindu Hasaranga had reached the second place among the T20 bowlers by advancing 4 steps. Vanindu has 696 ranked points and England's Adil Rashid, who is in first place, has 725 ranked points.
Mahish Thiekshana is ranked fourth among T20 bowlers. Also, Matisha Pathirana has moved up 22 steps in the T20 bowler ranking and is ranked 31st. Similarly, Nuwan Thushara has also moved up 28 steps and has occupied the 48th position among T20 bowlers.
Among the T20 batsmen, Pathum Nissanka is ranked 8th. Kusal Mendis dropped 3 places to 15th place. However, Charit has come 2 steps ahead and is ranked 37th.
Meanwhile, among the ODI bowlers, Mahish Thiekshana is at the 12th position and Vanindu Hasaranga has slipped one step to the 18th position. Dilshan Madhusanka was at the 41st position while Dunit Vellala was one step ahead to the 50th position.
Also, among the ODI batsmen, Pathum Nissanka is at the 7th position while Charit Nasanka has come one step ahead and occupied the 9th position. Kusal Mendis is ranked 35th and Sadheera Samarawickrama is ranked 42nd.
