The
World Cricket Council has announced 9 recommended names for the Player of Tournament
award of this year's T20 World Cup tournament.
Accordingly, Sri Lankan
spinner Wanindu Hasaranga is also included in the recommended names.
In addition, two Indian
players, two Pakistani players, three English players and a Zimbabwean player
have been nominated for the hero of the tournament.
