Lasith Malinga, who is considered to be the greatest fast bowler from Sri Lanka, recently released the book 'Visi Eke Mantare'.
The bowling action and wicket-taking strategies have been discussed with more attention in this book. Also, it is noteworthy that here 21 tricks have been described for a bowler to take wickets.
Addressing this occasion, Lasith Malinga said, 'This book is suitable not only for bowlers but also for batsmen. The aim of this book is to provide valuable training to the players and coaches, to create cricket intelligence and to understand the nuances of the game and give them instructions to master them.'Also, Malinga said at the launch of the book that he hoped to encourage and guide the next generation of cricketers through this book.
For the launch of this book, Sri Lanka head coach Sanath Jayasuriya, former captain and coach Mawan Athapattu, former Sri Lanka captain and former coaching consultant Mahela Jayawardena, a large number of people including former fast bowler Chaminda Vaas and former bowling coach of the Sri Lankan team Champika Ramanayake were present.
