Sri Lanka Cricket has decided to impose a fine on Dambulla Aura team captain Dasun Shanaka.
It is said that this fine was imposed due to opposition to a referee's decision in the match held on the 8th of the Ceylon Premier League cricket tournament.
Accordingly, the match referee has taken steps to impose a fine of 3,000 US dollars against Dasun Shanaka and it is stated that he has committed a Level 1 offense in violation of Article 2.8 of the LPL Disciplinary Code.
