The Sri Lanka Under-19 women's team has recently announced that they will join Australia for a match tour. Sri Lanka, Australia and New Zealand under-19 women's teams are going to join for this tournament.
Accordingly, it is said that the aim of this is to give young Sri Lankan women players experience in foreign competitions and to give them an understanding of the conditions there. In this tournament, 4 T20 matches and 2 ODIs are scheduled to be played between the Sri Lankan women's under-19 team, the Australian and New Zealand young women's teams.
The first T20 match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand will be held on the 20th of this month and the second match between Sri Lanka and Australia is scheduled to be held on the 22nd. The third match between Sri Lanka and Australia is scheduled to be held on 25th. The fourth match of the tri-series is scheduled to be held on the 26th between Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
Meanwhile, the first one-day match for the tournament is scheduled to be held between Sri Lanka and Australia on the 30th of this month. Also, the one-day match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand, which will be held as the final match of this tournament, is scheduled to be held on October 1.
