The Central Asian Volleyball Tournament is scheduled to begin on the 22nd at the Negombo beach and the participating Sri Lankan teams were officially announced yesterday (16th).

Accordingly, for this tournament, 3 men's and women's doubles teams will join for Sri Lanka. The Sri Lanka No. 1 team includes Dilipa Chamika and Malith Silva and the No. 2 team includes Sandun Madhusanka and Anjana Sandipana. Naleen Perera and Madhusha Wickramasinghe represent the Sri Lanka No. 3 team.
Also, Kasuni Tharuka and Deepika Bandara represent the Sri Lanka Women's 1 team, Chathurika Madhushani and Shehani Asanga represent the Women's 2 team, and Vasana Madhumali and Kasuni Keshala represent the Sri Lanka Women's 3 team.
Tyrone Jayathilaka will be the coach of the men's team and Taxila Niranjali will be the head coach of the women's team.
This tournament will be held from 22nd to 25th of January.Maldives, Nepal, Kyrgyzstan, Bhutan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and host Sri Lanka are scheduled to join it.
