It is reported that Nethmi Ahinsa, the Sri Lankan wrestling champion, has left for the United States of America.

Accordingly, it is special that Nethmi and her trainer Suranga Kumara have left for the United States of America for a special training. There, Nethmi Ahinsa has the opportunity to engage in special training for a month at the 'Wrestling Victor School' in the United States of America.

The fact that this special training was able to be implemented under the intervention of the Sri Lanka Wrestling Association is also a remarkable event. 

Nethmi Ahinsa won the bronze medal representing Sri Lanka in the 2022 Under-20 World Championship Wrestling Tournament.Undeterred, Nethmi won the bronze medal representing the 52 kg weight class at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England.
