Under its National Development Pathway Program, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has distributed 24 bowling machines to 24 local sports clubs participating in the Inter-Club Premier and Tier 'B' Cricket Tournaments. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of domestic cricket by developing essential training infrastructure. The SLC Executive Committee made this decision to uplift grassroots cricket standards.

A special ceremony to hand over the machines took place recently at the Colombo CCC Grounds, with the participation of SLC President Shammi Silva, Secretary Bandula Dissanayake, and National Development Centre Head Kamal Dharmasiri, among others.
