The match event held in conjunction with the 95th Ananda - Nalanda Peaceful War Cricket Match between Ananda and Nalanda Colleges, Colombo, was held last Friday (14) at the Nalanda College Cricket Stadium, Colombo.The concerned colleges renewed the Bowl Out competition aspect, which is a forgotten sports event in the world of cricket, and the organizing committee also mentioned that there are preparations to hold this event annually in the future.

Today at the Nalanda Stadium, the match was held between the cricket stars of Ananda Vidyalaya and the cricket stars of Nalanda Vidyalaya, the famous people born from Deviduhal and the teachers of the respective schools.Ananda Vidyalaya won the competition between teachers and Nalanda Vidyalaya won the competition between cricket stars.
Charit Senanayake, Nalin Rangajeeva, Prageeth Herath, Dinuk Hettiarachi, Eshan Abeysinghe and current Ananda captain Ashinsa Nainayake participated in this competition representing Ananda Vidyalaya Colombo.Representing Nalanda, Mahela Jayawardena, Shantha Kalavitigoda, Ashan Priyanjan, Lakshita Manasinghe, Ishara Amarasinghe and current Nalanda captain Sadev Samarasinghe participated.
Also, there was a competition event among the popular stars born from Devidyala where Bhathia Jayakodi, Jananath Varakagoda, Sahan Ranwala and Rashit Yapath for Nalandawa, Milind Madugalla, Niroshan Ileperuma, Madhushan Nanayakkara and Sandaru Bandarath participated for Ananda Vidyalaya Colombo.
