The 2025 All-Island Schools Swimming Championship, organized by the Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Association, is scheduled to be held from tomorrow (17th) until the 22nd of this month at the Sugathadasa Swimming Complex in Colombo.
Nestlé Milo continues its long-standing commitment as the main sponsor of this year's championship as well. With a mission to nurture champions through the values of sport while providing a platform for children across the country to showcase their skills and talents, Nestlé Milo has been partnering with state institutions for over three decades to support and develop Sri Lankan swimming champions.
As a further step in this commitment, Nestlé Milo is sponsoring the championship for the 50th time this year. Their aim is to promote inclusivity in sports by providing equal opportunities for every child to display their abilities in swimming and aquatic disciplines. With a proud legacy of over 30 years in supporting the sport, Nestlé Milo stands as a key partner in the development of swimming in Sri Lanka—contributing to many notable successes.
Over 275 schools from across the island are expected to take part in this event, with more than 2,000 female students and over 3,000 male students set to compete—making it a valuable platform for young Sri Lankans to demonstrate their talents in the aquatic sports arena.
