Foreign media reported that Kumar Sangakkara is most likely to be the head coach of Calcutta Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League Twenty20 cricket tournament to be held in 2025.
Accordingly, it is stated that Sangakkara will have this new responsibility due to the former head coach of the Calcutta team, Gautam Gambhir, taking over as the head coach of the Indian national team. However, in this regard, several rounds of discussions have been held between Sangakkara and the management of Calcutta Knight Riders, according to Indian media.
