The organizers of the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) have recently announced the list of players to be auctioned. The inclusion of 19 Sri Lankan players is a special feature.
Accordingly, this year's I.P.L. 29 Sri Lankan players were registered for the player auction. However, it is special that only 19 players have qualified to be presented for the auction.This year's IPL player auction is scheduled to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on 24th and 25th of this month. Although 1574 players were registered, only 574 players qualified to be submitted for the auction.
The number of Indian players included in it is 366 and 208 foreign players will also be presented for this year's player auction.
This time I.P.L. Teams will have the opportunity to buy 204 players in the player auction and the number of foreign players that can be bought in the auction is 70.
