The fourth match of the 5-match Border-Gavaskar Test series between the touring India team and England started today (26th) at the Melbourne Stadium. The Australian team won the toss and decided to bat first in the traditional Melbourne Boxing Day tournament.By the end of the first day of the match, Australia had scored 311 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 86 overs.

During the match, Indian player Virat Kohli hit Sammy Konstas on the shoulder, for which Kohli has been fined 20 percent of the match fee. After this incident there was also a heated exchange between Usman Khawaja and Kohli.
Then a referee came in between and settled the situation.

"Virat Kohli bumped into me by accident. That is the nature of cricket.
