The fourth match of the 5-match Border-Gavaskar Test series between the touring India team and England started today (26th) at the Melbourne Stadium. The Australian team won the toss and decided to bat first in the traditional Melbourne Boxing Day tournament.By the end of the first day of the match, Australia had scored 311 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 86 overs.

In this match, Sam Konstas, who won the Test mandate for Australia, came to the field as the opening batsman and scored 60 runs.Sam Konstas, who was the fourth youngest player to win a Test cap for Australia, scored his half-century in 52 balls. During the match, Indian player Virat Kohli hit Sammy Konstas on the shoulder, for which Kohli has been fined 20 percent of the match fee. After this incident there was also a heated exchange between Usman Khawaja and Kohli.
Then a referee came in between and settled the situation.
However, Constance expressed this opinion about the incident.
"Virat Kohli bumped into me by accident. That is the nature of cricket.
