Defending champs St. Peter’s Bambalapitiya managed to squeeze through to the semi-final of the Under-19 Inter Schools Division One Tier ‘B’ Limited Overs Cricket tournament, when they beat Devapathiraja Rathgama by 10 runs in the quarter-final played at D.S. Senanayake College ground, Wijerama Mawatha Colombo yesterday.

Match had a delayed start due to wet ground conditions and restricted to 27 overs per side.

Batting first, St. Peter’s scored 122 runs for 9 wickets and bowled out Devapathiraja for 112 runs in 21.3 overs.
