The schedule of the Masters League Twenty20 cricket tournament, where teams made up of former great players compete in the international cricket arena, was officially announced recently.

The first match in which the Sri Lankan team will compete is scheduled to be held on the 22nd of this month against the Indian Masters team at 7.30 pm in Mumbai. Mumbai d. Y. This match, which will be held at the Patli Stadium, is the inaugural match of the Masters League Twenty20 cricket tournament.
After that on 26th Sri Lanka Masters team with South Africa Masters team in D.Y. in Mumbai. The match is scheduled to be played at the Patli Stadium itself.The third match in which Sri Lanka will participate in the preliminary round will be held on 28th with Australia Masters team at Rajkot and the match between Sri Lanka and Australia will be held on 28th at Rajkot.
The final match will be held in Raipur on March 10 with the England Masters team.
It is reported that former Sri Lanka captain and wicket keeper Kumar Sangakkara will lead the Sri Lanka Masters team for this tournament.It is also special that many superstars who represented the Sri Lankan team such as Tillakaratne Dilshan, Chaminda Vas, Isuru Udana, Muttiah Muralitharan and Asela Gunaratne are scheduled to join.
Also, in this tournament, great batsman Sachin Tendulkar has the responsibility of leading the Indian Masters team, while the Australian Masters team is led by all-rounder Shane Watson.Super batsman Brian Lara is the captain of the West Indies Masters team.
