The Indian squad for the World Twenty20 cricket tournament has been announced. Indian squad led by Rohit Sharma and the number of players included in is 15.

Fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel, who missed the Asia Cup due to injuries, have been called back to this World Cup squad. Also, Akshar Patel has been added to the Indian squad in place of Ravindra Jadeja, who was injured in the Asia Cup.

 The T20 World Cup cricket tournament held in Australia is scheduled to start on October 16.
