The Hambantota Bangla Tigers won the Sri Lanka T-10 League Cricket Tournament organized for the first time by the Sri Lanka Cricket Institute.

Accordingly, Hambantota Bangla Tigers won the first Ceylon T-10 championship by winning a huge victory of 26 points against the Jaffna Titans who were undefeated in the Ceylon T-10 tournament in the final match.
Jaffna Titans captain David Wiese, who won the toss of the final match at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy, invited the Hambantota Bangla Tigers to bat first.Accordingly, although the Bangla Tigers got off to a successful start, Kusal Janith Perera left the field for 9 runs when the scoreboard was recorded as 35. Mohammad Shazad, who had collected 26 runs, was run out for 26 runs. Shabir Rahman was out for 16 runs and skipper Dasun Shanaka could score only 21 runs.Shevonne Daniel was dismissed for a wicket-keeping error while scoring 26 runs. Isuru Udana could only score one point. Kenner Lewis scored 10 points while rushing. Dhananjaya Lakshan scored 10 runs without losing.
Accordingly, the Hambantota Bangla Tigers scored 133 runs for 7 wickets at the end of the scheduled 10 overs.
Tarveen Mathew took 2 wickets for Jaffna Titans while Pramod Madhushan, Malsha Tharupathy and Dwayne Pretorius shared one wicket each.In pursuit of that challenging goal, Jaffna Titans scored 21 when Tom Colley fell to Cadmore for 10 runs in the second over of the innings. In the same innings that Richard Gleeson played, Gleeson was able to send Kusal Mendis to the stadium for 11 runs.Jaffna's innings collapse started with Darith Sasanka being bowled out for one run as the third wicket. Pawan Ratnayake was dismissed for 10 runs as the fourth wicket. Dasun Shana was able to clear Jaffna Titans captain David Wiese from the box to score. Dwayne Pretorius fell for 9 runs as the 6th wicket.Tom Abel, who fought alone for Jaffna Titans, scored 54 runs unbeaten. Accordingly, at the end of the scheduled 10 overs, the Jaffna Titans could score only 107 runs for 6 wickets.
In bowling for the Hambantota team, Richard Gleeson took 3 wickets, Dasun Shanaka took 2 wickets and Isuru Udana took one wicket.
