Loyola College Negombo beat Vidyaloka College Galle by 4 wickets in the final of the Under-19 Inter Schools Division Three Tier ‘A’ Limited Overs Cricket tournament at Ananda College grounds Colombo on Sunday. Vidyaloka won the toss and elected to bat.

They scored a challenging 194 runs for 9 wickets in their 50 overs. Pasan Madushanka (31), Lidula Nuwanga (31), Nimesh Avinda (30), Sadil Senuda (26*) and Pasindu Sankalpa (21*) helped to build their inning. Savindu Nethsara (3) and Aloka Nimesh (2) were the main wicket takers. Loyola reached the target in 47.3 overs scoring 198 runs for 6 wickets. Shafni Deen scored an unbeaten 81 runs, while Kavindu Amarasinghe (26) and Stefan Fernandopulle (25)) helped to build their innings. Pasindu Sankalpa claimed 3 wickets for 60.
