Sri Lanka Navy retired Commander Ranjith Wimalaratne has been appointed as the new chairman of Colombo Sugathadasa Sports Complex Authority.

The letter of appointment related to this position was presented to Mr. Ranjith Wimalaratne yesterday (20th) by the Minister of Sports Mr. Sunil Kumara Gamage. Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakaratne and Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs Mr. Eranga Gunasekara were also present on the occasion of awarding the appointment letters.
Mr. Wimalaratne, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kelaniya, has served in the Sri Lanka Navy for 25 years.
