The 'Summer Season' All-Ceylon Open Badminton Tournament, organized by the Central Province Badminton Association, is scheduled to be held from April 21st to 27th at the Nuwara Eliya Municipal Council Indoor Stadium.
This tournament is also a national badminton first-level ranking tournament, and the tournament organizers have announced that applications will be accepted these days.
The 'Summer Season' All-Ceylon Open Badminton Tournament, which will be held in Nuwara Eliya in April, will be held under the approval of the Badminton Association of Sri Lanka, and will feature the country's top athletes.
The tournament consists of a junior division from under 11 to under 19 years of age, and a senior division from over 30 to over 70 years of age. The main event of the tournament, the Open Division, includes women's and men's singles, doubles and mixed doubles events.In addition, a plate championship round has been added for the players who lose in the women's and men's singles semi-finals.
The opening ceremony of the 'Summer Season' All-Ceylon Open Badminton Tournament will be held on April 21 at 9.00 am, followed by the preliminary round matches.The quarterfinals and semifinals will be held on the 26th, the 6th day of the tournament, while the finals and closing ceremony are scheduled to be held on April 27th.
