MP Nilanthi Kottahachchi has won the table tennis championship at the annual sports event held for members of Parliament during the 2025 budget debate.
The runner-up was MP Chamindrani Kiriella.
It is noteworthy that the championship in the doubles table tennis tournament was also won by MP Nilanthi Kottahachchi and MP Chathuranga Abeysinghe.
The awards, trophies and certificates were presented by Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya and the Leader of the House of Parliament Bimal Ratnayake.The event was held under the patronage of Deputy Minister of Sports Sugath Thilakaratne, Sports Festival Organizer Member of Parliament Nalin Bandara, and Secretary General of Parliamentary Affairs Kushani Rohanadheera.
