It is reported that Sri Lankan champion weightlifter Indika Dissanayake has been appointed as the brand ambassador of the International Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in Sri Lanka.

Accordingly, with this new appointment, Indika Dissanayake will represent Sri Lanka on behalf of the Sports Committee of the International Anti-Doping Agency. Also, the name of Indika Dissanayake has been suggested for this position by the Sri Lankan Anti-Doping Agency among many sportspersons in Sri Lanka.

With this new position, Indika Dissanayake will provide his active contribution as a representative of Sri Lanka in various conferences and awareness programs held by the International Anti-Doping Agency in Sri Lanka as well as abroad.
